Jasmine Rad, Staff Writer
Jasmine Rad is a senior at Milken and a first year writer for The Roar. She enjoys writing articles about culture, current events and the Milken community. In school, Jasmine leads the National Art Honors Society, participates in Milken varsity cheerleading and is involved in student government. Outside of school, Jasmine enjoys running her non-profit aiding homeless women that she started during the pandemic. Her non-profit has become an outlet to share blogs and informational pieces. Jasmine hopes to integrate her love for creative writing with journalism and Milken this year. Journalism has allowed her to expand her writing skills and express herself through a new lens. Because of the creative writing and journalism opportunities at Milken, she has generated a passion to release works to a large audience. Jasmine looks forward to continuing her passion for writing at a collegiate and possibly professional level.
