Update on student elections, voting begins

This year’s campaign process started with the candidates filming thirty-second campaign speeches in the Milken Video News broadcasting studio. Those videos were later put onto The Roar’s website for the school to see.
People around the school posted different candidates that they wanted to be elected as their statuses on Facebook.
After many days of viewing The Roar‘s website, a town meeting took place today. Every candidate running gave a speech to the entire school. After the town meeting, students from grades 9 through 11 were dismissed and sent off to vote after receiving an email with their password.
The voting process is currently underway and will be open until nine o’clock tomorrow night. Check back on The Roar on Friday to see the election results.
