Over the past six weeks, the three sections of Jewish Thought Honors have worked on a film project in hopes of reaching a larger public audience with a viral Judaism message. The process deviated from normal school projects and provided students with an opportunity to create a video through research and discussion. Each student played a role in the filmmaking process, including acting, film editing, and directing.  Each video contained a distinct message and style, ranging from America’s Next Top Model spoof to random street interviews.

After finishing the videos, students presented their projects to a panel consisting of teachers, former students, and parents. The students pitched their videos and answered questions from the panelists. Many of you have already seen these videos on Facebook or YouTube. Over the course of the next few days, The Roar will be posting two videos a day for our audience. We will provide students and teachers with a chance to vote for their favorites. Here are the first two submissions to the competition.
