Looking for a great way to get some community service hours? This Sunday, February 9th, teens from all over Los Angeles can take part in The Jewish Federation’s Community Service Day, Super Service Sunday.

Led by Team Sherut L’Olam, the Jewish Federation Teen Leadership Corps is a community service program that trains teens in leadership, team building, public speaking, and advocacy skills. Teens can make a difference in the lives of people throughout the Los Angeles community with hands-on mitzvah projects designed for students from sixth through twelfth grade.

Participants will explore how to heal the planet with the Shalom Institute as well as help those in need with Jewish World Watch. The event will take place at the Skirball Cultural Center from 1-4 PM.  Every student participant will receive three hours of community service.
