    Thought provoking article Zach.
European kids take a gap year before college, and they try to experience as much of the world as time permits. They travel, work or do individual projects in music, writing and other areas of interest that make them more prepared mentally and emotionally for college/university life. I wonder what American university admission officers would think of applicants who want to take a gap year? Would it hurt or help in the admission process? Could and article about that area be a useful subject for Milken students?

Awesome article. It’s nice to be reminded that the world is indeed bigger than college. MUCH bigger. I especially love the last sentence – right on point.

Love hearing this perspective. It’s drowned out by the never-ending talk of and push for college at Milken. Glad you had the courage to say it.
