January Student Q+A: Adam Stark

The Q+A- one student, one faculty member, each month. This month we sat down with senior Adam Stark.

Conducted by Yasmine Novian

Common misconception about me:  That I am a quiet person. I can be very talkative, even obnoxious at times! But I am very busy as well, as I am producing a brand new sketch comedy show at Milken, called Milken Night Live. Sunday, February 10!

Most creative gift, given or received: A drawing of all my favorite characters and things. There are a lot!

Movie you’ve seen most:  Marvel: The Avengers. First time at a movie marathon, every other time to show each individual family member.

Book you’ve read the most:  Don’t judge me, but Captain Underpants. All of them! Each funnier than the last!

One thing I cant live without:  My vast Lego collection (still growing). Has been there for me through thick and thin, always keeping me entertained and keeping my creative juices flowing.

What you wanted to be at age 10:  The owner of Lego Land. The place never closes, and only I’m allowed.

Favorite gadget:  The Xbox 360, does nothing else but entertain.

Teacher pet peeve:  Turn the AC to 55 degrees on first period when its already 60 degrees outside!

Student pet peeve: Not listening and asking an already answered question. Come on, our teachers work hard!

Procrastination technique:  Youtube

Hobby:  Building and collecting creative lego projects. Currently building a fully functional city.

Favorite thing about being a senior:  NO MORE SAT’s/ACT’s!!!

Movie star you wish you could take to prom: Scarlett Johansson. Sorry Mr. Lawrence.

Topic you love but wouldn’t talk about in a college interview:  My mad xbox skills.

Favorite classes you’ve taken at Milken:  Advanced Theater Projects because it taught me useful producing skills. And ceramics, who doesn’t love ceramics!

 Funniest Hebrew word: Achla

Most memorable learning experience:  How to end a dinner date sooner… Simply by chewing very slowly and with your mouth open.

Most purchased item in Student Store: Chicken (Flavored) Soup or blue flavored sour sticks.

Favorite Milken Trend: Food Fights. Haven’t seen many of those lately…

Most beloved/interesting item in your school bag: My wallet. Kind of important…

Where do you sit at lunch: Where I am needed.
