After graduating from the University of California, Santa Barbara and majoring in Biology, Joey Vaisman ’02 decided to go to medical school and attend the University of Toledo College of Medicine. While in medical school, he married his high school sweetheart, and the two of them now have a two-year-old son named Oliver. Following his time in medical school, Vaisman spent his intern year at University of Nevada, in Reno.

Succeeding his years as an intern, Vaisman moved back to Los Angeles and currently lives in Calabasas. He’s currently an anesthesiology resident at the University of Southern California and works at Los Angeles County USC Medical Center and Keck Medical Center of USC.

Aside from spending his time as an anesthesiologist, Vaisman is a huge Dodger and Laker fan. He enjoys skiing and spends most of his time with his family and friends around LA.
