On Thursday, January 26, Milken Community High School will be participating in a special ceremony to commemorate the Italian Jews who perished in the Holocaust.
Italians around the world will participate in commemoration ceremonies. In Los Angeles, three ceremonies will take place and will collectively read aloud the 8,000 names of the Italians who perished in the Holocaust. These ceremonies will be held at Milken, the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust and the USC Hillel.
Milken’s ceremony will be in the amphitheater from 9:00-12:00 AM. Students can come during passing periods and during their free periods.
