A few weeks ago, the prized possession of Mr. Oliver Savage, English and debate teacher, was stolen. The loss of his British flag has disappointed Savage, and he is willing to do whatever he can to get it back.

“Unfortunately, when the doors are left unlocked, anyone can prowl around,” Savage said.

Savage bought the flag on sale for about 15 cents after the English soccer team lost the World Cup while he was still living in England. Although the flag was cheap, with air fare and the cost of coming to America with the flag, Savage figures that the flag is really worth 900 dollars.

Savage is convinced that the flag was not misplaced, but stolen. He does not, however, know who committed the crime.

Though he is not willing to commit to a written agreement, Savage has offered to award $200 for the return of his flag.

“I feel my hands are tied a little bit. I don’t want to take matters into my own hands. I just have to have faith in regular channels,” Savage said.

Savage is willing to meet the person who has his flag in an agreed location for the exchange of the flag and the reward.

“Sometimes it’s not easy to come from a foreign country,” Savage said.

If any student, administrator or teacher has Savage’s flag, please contact him and prepare to possibly be rewarded $200.
