Waking up early for school to make it to Starbucks without being tardy is so worth it. Everyone has something that symbolizes and reminds them that fall is approaching. For some it’s the change of leaves or the drop of degrees on the weather app, for me it’s the addition of fall drinks on the Starbucks menu. This year the menu was released in August, giving me an extra month to enjoy these nostalgic limited- edition drinks. Go out and get this before December 10th. As someone who absolutely needs a drink in the morning to start my day off right, I feel the need to review the drinks of my favorite season.

Pumpkin Spice Latte
Pumpkin Spice Latte, the real start to fall is when they start to get poured. This drink is very popular and it’s back for the 20th time. I personally love how this drink can be served hot, iced, or blended. On hot days, I reach for this beverage iced with a nice touch of steamed milk combined with the espresso shot. What I love most about this drink is how much pumpkin truly is in it. The main stem of the drink entails real pumpkin alongside cinnamon and clove. The top part of the drink, which is the best, the whipped cream is infused with pumpkin to make pumpkin cream cold foam. Last but not least, the cherry on top is the sparkle of pumpkin spice. Don’t shy away from trying this drink because of all the pumpkin. The flavor is not overpowering at all and simply adds a very strong sense of fall.

Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew
This one’s for the coffee lovers. For some, such a strong dose of coffee without any
sweetness is way too bitter, and this is where the solution comes in. Pumpkin will perfectly lower the bitterness of the coffee and attract more people to this drink who usually turn away from cold brews. For the cold brew fanatics, they will get to enjoy their pure coffee with a hint of pumpkin that will not only provide the same effect, but will also remind them what wonderful season is before them.

Iced Pumpkin Creme Chai Tea Latte
This drink is one of the newer ones and was inspired by TikTok. TikTok has its own secret
Starbucks menu and has officially made it to the fall drinks being sold. This drink offers a combination of spicy chai with a creamy texture from the milk and of course, the hint of pumpkin. The key aspect of this drink is its elimination of the pumpkin sauce that all of the fall drinks include. This deduction makes this beverage less sweet and not truly considered a real treat. What’s most surprising is that it still contains the same amount of calories as ones with pumpkin spice, yet this doesn’t stop it from returning to the menu.

Brown Sugar Oat Milk Shaken Espresso
A new spin to the year-round Brown Sugar Oat Milk Shaken Espresso. This drink is very similar to that one except it includes apples to signify the change of seasons. Now it also entails oat milk so the apple is well blended into the drink. The addition of apple makes it smell like a baked apple pie and the aftertaste is also apple. Overall, if you’re someone who enjoys apples you should definitely try out this drink!

Apple Crisp Oat Milk Macchiato
Lucky us! Another cozy apple addition to the classic fall menu. Apple crisp oat milk macchiato is back on the fall menu for the third year. As soon as the drink is in your hand, you are greeted with the delicious smell of an apple pie. Unfortunately, the apple flavor was almost nonexistent and was more like a fall candle due to the oat milk and blonde espresso. The drink was very sweet to the point where it was just too strong even for someone who likes sugary things. I wouldn’t order this drink again, unless I’m craving an aftertaste close to Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
Everyone should get excited and try out these limited edition drinks. You will not be disappointed and will be craving them all year.
