With different music tastes, each member of the staff was able to pitch in to create diverse tracklists spanning several genres. Happy Listening!
Playlist #1: “walk around the neighborhood”
After sitting home for the whole day, it’s important to get some fresh air. This playlist features a variety of upbeat and uplifting songs that will make you feel like you’re walking on sunshine!
Playlist #2: “homechella2020”
The homechella 2020 playlist features all of the great music and none of the heat and long lines. Coachella may be postponed for now, but this is the safe alternative!
Playlist #3: “wallow in sadness”
In the midst of a global pandemic, there is lots to cry about. Sometimes the best way to process your emotions is to listen to sad music and pretend that you’re a character in a sad movie. With tracks from artists like Frank Ocean, Bon Iver, and Billie Eilish, don’t be surprised if you shed a tear…or two.
Playlist #4: “chill out”
For many, this break from the fast pace of normal life has provided ample opportunities for mindfulness and sometimes even relaxation. The “chill out” playlist creates the perfect ambiance for mindful activities such as journaling, cooking, or even just staring up at the sky/ceiling and contemplating life.
Playlist #5: RAGE!!!
A great alternative to letting your anger out on those who live with you. Listen in headphones or blast it in your room. This mix of hard-hitting songs will make you punch the air and release any pent up anger or frustration.
