This Tuesday, February 11, you can join Professional Golf Association dignitaries at the VA grounds in West Los Angeles, to help serve the veterans who served and protected our country.

Students can earn 5 hours of community service at the PGA sponsored picnic event, where students will escort veterans in wheelchairs, and help serve food to the honorees.  Volunteers will also greet and converse with the veterans and do their best to put a smile on the heroes’ faces.  And if you’re lucky, you may even get to meet a professional golfer!

To sign up, email Ms. Ordower or sign up on the list outside of the community service office by Friday, February 7.  A bus will depart from Milken on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. to the VA.  The event starts at 3:00 p.m. and then students can be picked up at the VA at 5:00 p.m., or get picked up back at Milken at 5:30 p.m.
