With the lights dimmed and music blasting from DJ Winterfresh’s turntable, Fall Ball transformed Milken’s theater into “Club Margolis.” Though ticket sales leading up to the dance were not outstanding, an estimated three hundred Milken students attended the event on Saturday night, with the majority of students purchasing their tickets at the door.
Fall Ball took the place of this year’s Homecoming dance, and though similar in name, had a different disposition than Winter Ball (also known as Winter Formal). Fall Ball was a casual and low key event– jeans appropriate, but was still filled with the same exciting energy as other Student Government festivities.
Student Government is pleased with the success of the night, specifically with the high level of attendance from the freshman class.
“Fall Ball is the best thing that’s ever happened to me,” said Student Government Vice President Brian Younessi ‘14.
With the sensation of Fall Ball behind them, the student leaders are gearing up to plan more exciting events, such as the upcoming Color Wars.
