Milken’s Model United Nations (UN) team departed March 9 for the annual University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley) Model UN competition. The team, comprised of 23 students, is a combination of individuals in the Model UN class and Model UN club.

On Wednesday, March 9, one of the University of Pennsylvania’s student-led a capella groups, OffTheBeat, visited Milken to sing with Kol Echad and perform during lunch. OffTheBeat also boasts Milken and Kol Echad alum Ali Kriegsman ’09 as a member of their group.

Jewish Leadership Board ends Book of Life campaign

On Monday, September 26, Milken’s Jewish Leadership Board (JLB) placed eight journals around Milken’s campus as the first step of its Book of Life campaign. Each journal has a prompt about the Jewish new year. Students were asked to respond to theses prompts through writing, poetry and art.
405 freeway to be closed July 15-July 18

From around midnight on Friday, July 15 until early Monday, July 18, the northbound 405 freeway between the 101 freeway and Interstate 10 and four miles of the southbound 405 freeway, from the 101 to the Getty Center Drive ramp, will be shut down. During these 53 hours, half of the Mulholland Drive Bridge will be demolished.
